Sønderborg

Dybbøl Mølle
The Mill of Dybbøl (Dybbøl Mølle) is a national symbol and nowadays a museum with changing exhibitions about its history. The mill is located in an historical environment close to Sønderborg. Adjacent to the mill is The Historical Center 1864, an eventcenter showing the historical facts about the for Denmark fateful battle at Dybbøl in 1864.The area has natural trails on the ramparts with a beautiful view over The Sound of Als (Alssund).
Gråsten
A cosy small town with the Palace (Gråsten Slot) beautifully situated and surrounded by gardens, lakes and wood. Queen Margrethe II and the royal family reside the palace every summer. In periods with non presence of the royal family the park is open for public from sunset to dawn. Also the richly adorned chapel serves as a parish church with public services.
